Christmas Spice
1 Pouch of Hot Chocolate mix
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 pinch salt
Whole milk (as directed per Hot coco mix)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cinnamon sticks (or roasted cinnamon powder if that’s all you have)
2 dashes ground nutmeg
INSTRUCTIONS
In a sauce pot, make Hot Chocolate mix as directed, using milk instead of water. Bring the mix to a slight steam.
Add brown sugar and salt, stir to combine.
Add 2 tbsp of cold milk, and whisk until the cocoa powder is fully dissolved.
Add the remaining spices to the pot. Turn the heat down, and whisk to combine the ingredients at a low simmer for about 5-10 minutes depending on how thick you like your hot chocolate.
